What
is the Career in Transition (CIT) programme?
It is a practical support program to help employees
who have to leave an organisation due to redundancy,
severance or significant corporate change, cope with
the prospect of job change and make positive moves
forward to the next stage of their careers.
A typical program spans one to two full days and
covers subjects such as Coping with Retrenchment,
Psychometric Testing and Feedback, as well as Coaching
on Interview Techniques and Resume Writing, etc. In
order to create a more personalised and intimate learning
environment, the class size is kept relatively small.
Participants’ Feedback
“The information and support provided
during the two sessions have given me the strength
and motivation to brace myself for tougher times ahead.
The personality test gives me an insight into myself
which enables me to reflect and improve during the
interim period in between jobs.”
“The role play techniques and hands-on
resume writing sessions have helped me to better prepare
for interviews and create an ‘attention-grabbing’
resume. The ‘one-to-one’ session was also
very helpful as it gives me an insight to my personality
that I am not aware of. I now know how to flaunt my
good side and use it to my advantage. I especially
appreciate the empathy that was showed throughout
the session. The emotional support has given me the
strength to face the hard times ahead.”
