AVP Ms Kathleen Chew has to say about her passion and achievement
of her work lately.
"Call it what you like......retrenched, laid off,
made redundant, displaced.... they all mean the same and
this is hard to stomach for most. In the recent months,
I had the opportunity to conduct outplacement programs both
on a 1-on-1 and group basis. I was able to help them confront
and come to terms with their emotions, and then to move
forward. I was there to help them find honest, applicable
and pragmatic solutions to their ‘problems’.
As a professional and experienced recruiter, I know how
to tell a good resume from a bad or mediocre one among other
skills and knowledge like interview techniques, salary negotiation,
etc.

by retrenchment is a fulfilling and satisfying experience
